This chord progression of this song is based on a falling bass line along the diatonic scale. So if you'll keep this in mind I belive you'll find it easier to memorize this song.

The pop groove of the song is very simple and is based on the right hand playing the beat while the left hand plays the bass creating the following pattern: Both, Right-Left-Both, Right Left - Per bar.
